I’m running a little late on these posts.

I’m a little glutWireTeapot
Short and stout,
Here is my handle
Here is my spout.
When I get all steamed up,
Hear me shout,
Tip me over and pour me out!
#135 Today, during my A.I. class I thought of this (btw, this class should stop with the graphs and the trees because all I can think of is new data and how to connect them):
Numbers from 1 to 20000 connected as follows:
(a) -> (a+1), edge weight=1
(a) -> (a^b), edge weight=b
And then I layed them out in Gephi with Yifan Hu’s Multilevel algorithm (top) and the Concentric Layout algorithm (bottom, edges hidden from view) with 1 at the center (where a node with a distance of n hops from the center resides in the n-th circle, edge weight irrelevant).
One looks like a brain tomography and the other like a magnetic field.
Curious (mostly the magnetic field one, the other seems totally random).
#134 15651 parts of 334 stories.
(ok, they’re just tv episodes connected as parts of each series and overall by original air date)
